Non-Discrimination Policy for The Arlington Chorale
The Arlington Chorale (TAC) does not tolerate discrimination based on race, color, religion (creed), gender (including pregnancy), gender expression/identity, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, genetic information (including family medical history), or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, the appointment to and termination from its Board of Directors, hiring and firing of staff (if any) or contractors, selection of volunteers, recruitment and selection of members, selection of vendors, and providing of services.
TAC will provide reasonable accommodations (changes to the way things are normally done) to members who need them for medical or religious reasons, as required by law. Members of TAC, members of the Board of Directors, employees (if any), and/or contractors may report discrimination to any of the members of the Board of Directors as soon as practicable. Any such reports will be held in the strictest confidence, and will be investigated by the Board of Directors impartially, promptly, and thoroughly. If it is determined that discrimination occurred, then the Board of Directors will take prompt corrective and/or preventative action as necessary and as required by law. This may include, but is not limited to, immediate removal of any member, director, contractor, or staff from any association with TAC.
