Students use choral singing to make a positive impact on the community! In Season 2021/22, the Youth Community Council is collaborating with EcoAction Arlington to bring awareness to climate change. While working with the Artistic Director and the Board of Directors, students develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills.
Members have the opportunity to earn service hours and perform at EcoAction's EcoExtravaganza and a Chorale concert. To learn how to apply for a spot on the Youth Community Council, please e-mail Artistic Director Ingrid Lestrud ingrid@arlingtonchorale.org.

ELAThe arts are a way to bring together multiple generations of people in a way that everyone is comfortable with each other, never mind their differences. Bringing people together from all parts of a community to sing, dance, or paint, is like bringing together the four corners of your world. You can learn about different cultures, and develop different views. Through the arts, people can be a better version of themselves, and learn how to make differences in their community. |

TIFFANYI believe the arts can make a positive impact on my community because it brings people together. Everyone enjoys the arts. It can make people happy or sad. I know many people that enjoy the arts whether it's singing, performing, dancing, or expression. I believe the arts could really make a positive impact on my community. |
