The Joseph and Karen Luquire Conducting Fellowship
The 2024/25 fellowship has been filled. Information about applying for future fellowships will be made available here.
I am so grateful for my experience as the Conducting Fellow for the Arlington Chorale! It has been a huge stepping stone in my musical career. As a young conductor, it is rare to have so much time working with a high-caliber adult choir. This experience and my mentorship with Ingrid transformed my conducting and built my confidence. It also gave me an inside view into what it takes to run a sophisticated musical ensemble - everything from repertoire selection to running and structuring sectionals and planning compelling concert seasons. |
